Lakewood Christian Church exists to exalt Jesus Christ, by meeting with God in worship, teaching, prayer and building friendships through nurturing and caring for one another; and making a difference. By exercising our spiritual gifts in this body and proclaiming the Gospel to our communities and the world.

We Promote Worship

Sunday Morning Worship Service

Our worship service starts with contemporary music and then move on to a traditional worship. It has a twofold purpose: to give God the glory and honor that He deserve and to teach believers how to incorporate worship into their personal daily living. We seek to impart the value of worship to our congregation because the experience of genuine worship can and does change lives. People leave our service encouraged, refreshed, and inspired to develop and continue in a personal relationship with God.

We Build People

The heartbeat of our ministry is to build people through the teaching of the uncompromised Word of God. Pastor Joseph only allow mature Christian to take any leadership role in the church, so they in return build God’s people through His Word. We are a church committed to helping people develop an excellent spirit through our ministry, education classes, and fellowship. This is done through our Sunday School classes for all age group – children, teen and adult as well as Bible Study.

Membership Class

This class only offer when there is a need and will present the vision and the history of the church, and what we believe and why. The significance of local church membership, expectations and benefits are explained.

Nursery for Children

Nursery for toddlers is offered on a need basis, so that the parents of the children can attend Sunday School classes and Worship services freely. Although this could be considered as a “baby sitting”, the aim is to lead the children to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and to establish them in faith in the Word of God. We believe that at a young age, children will know God though music, object lessons and age appropriate games.
